The Bone Bash kicks ass!!! Can I say that on the internet? Who's to say what the censor can say. Although, I will not be so bold as to tell you all any more of the bigger and more naughty words that could be heard coming from the motor city madman. That's right folks lock up your daughters because terrible Ted is coming to your town on his latest rampage of the country featuring Full Bruntal Nugity. The show here in northern California was opened by Great White and then turned on with absolutely knock down performance by Tesla, who are just recently returning to the stage after a long hiatus. Well, the energy of the crowd was synnergistic with the overflowing joy of the band. Emotions brimming on the edge of Tommy Skeoch's smile as his return to the limelight was obviously quite heartfelt and Jeff's front man panache clearly had been missed by all present. The Bone rocks man and don't you forget it, because 107.7 just brought together a formidable alliance of musicians to rock the night away in the South Bay. Ted Nugent hit the stage with some primal screams that let you know right away that this guy ain't getting old any time quick. The show was rocking hard from there on out with all the classic Nugent licks. Near the end of the show, Ted invited members of Night Ranger to join him from backstage to play a tune. This kind of surprised me as they weren't on the bill. I was even more surprised as that one radio song came blasting out of the speakers and we were hurled back in time to a place when little sister was coming of age. The show ended with a fat encore of "Cat Scratch Fever," "Stranglehold," and "Great White Buffalo." My cool was completely lost for "Stranglehold" as I flailed into the delight of a musical trance, let's dance. Thanks for reading and we'll see ya at the shows.
